Brad Pitt

A heartthrob of millions of women worldwide, William Bradley “Brad” Pitt was born on December 18, 1963 at Shawnee in Oklahoma, USA. His father William “Bill” Pitt worked as a manager in a trucking firm in Springfield. His mother's name is Jane Etta Hillhouse. Brad has two siblings, a younger brother, Douglas (Doug) Pitt and a younger sister, Julie Neal Pitt.Pitt attended the Kickapoo High School where he excelled at sports, debating, school musicals and student government.
Later, he joined the University of Missouri, where he studied journalism with a focus in advertising. He played roles in college fraternity plays and even posed for the campus calendar before he left university without completing graduation to take up acting as a career. While in college, Brad used to act at the Vandevort Theater in Springfield, Missouri. He still visits and donates to the theater.
Before he got into full-time acting, Pitt made a living by driving strippers in limousines. He also posed as a giant chicken for a food joint “El Pollo Loco” on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood and worked as a mover for refrigerators. He kicked off his Hollywood acting career in an unaccredited role in No Man's Land (1987). Since then he has appeared in many films and TV productions. The Mexican and Meet Joe Black. He has since earned numerous awards and nominations for his stellar performances in various titles. His role in 'Seven Years in Tibet” in 1997 has caused China to ban him from entering their country. He changed his name to Brad Pitt when he auditioned for his first Hollywood movie.Brad Pitt was voted No. 6 in Elle (France) Magazine's '15 Sexiest Men' poll (held in June 2007). In 2005, he charged $4,500,000 for appearing in a Heineken commercial that was aired during the Super Bowl in 2005. In 2007, the Forbes magazine estimated his earnings for the year to be $35 million.Brad is well known for his work in various charities.
He reportedly donated $5 million to rebuild homes for the people rendered homeless by the hurricane Katrina. He is also involved in the Mineseeker Foundation and the Sole of Africa, a widespread campaign dedicated to detection and removal of land mines all over Africa.Brad Pitt currently lives with his long-term girlfriend Angelina Jolie. They are expecting twins. These will be their 2nd and 3rd biological children and their 5th and 6th altogether.
